What actually does... Sarah Jezebel Deva do? The singer, who also participated in Cradle Of Filth and Therion, accidentially meets Chris Rehn (Abyssos), and the two of. On the CD are five tracks, four of which are original compositions plus a Kylie Minogue cover. Yes, right, Kylie Minogue, that was this Australian with those disco songs. How that now fits with a former Cradle Of Filth singer? Actually not that bad. In fact I consider „Confide In Me“ being the weekest song on this demo, but it isn’t, however, out of place. Whereas we reach the vocals, those are indeed impressive. Especially with „Six Feet Under’s Not Deep Enough“ or „Confide In Me“ Sarah’s voice is so conjuring, that you could almost get scared, that you have to deal with Kaa from Junglebook. Concerning the other songs it looks much different, but you don’t have to be afraid that the whole thing drifts into some operesque hooded-crow performance, as it seems to be some kind of trend nowadays. Also you don’t need to fear any exaggerated dramatics, even tho the demo can be categorized roughly symphonic metal. Merely „Deity Of Disgust“ (which by the way comes up with some strange oriental influences) is for my taste too full of pathos, caused a bit by the clean male vocals (performed Martin Häggström. Generally I find it hard to name the aforementioned song as well as „Suicide On My Mind“ stil metal, it’s too drifted from this genre. Viewed generally one rather gets the feeling to deal with some soundtrac than with anything else. To cut a long story short, this doesn’t sound like a demo at all, also seen from the production point of view. The French record lable Listenable Records noticed this as well, and signed Angtoria, and we can expect a full-lenght album by end of April, which will contain all songs of this demo with the exception of „A Child That Walks The Path Of A Man.
