The present CD is already their third but I haven´t heard of those Italians before. What a mistake! Because those four guys are great! Melodic Death Metal in Sweden-style, the CD was also mixed in legendary Fredman Studio and mastered by Goran Finnberg... and a certain Björn “Speed” Strid as main vocalist, whose main business is with Soilwork. And that is good but also bad... the guys could hardly ever play live before because of line-up problems, and thus going on a tour might become even more “Mission Impossible”. And there is also the issue of lacking individuality... yet, I cannot recall any Gothenburg band playing in such a multi-vocal and catchy way. Tracks like „Venom Leech And the Hands Of Rain“ or „A Taste Of Collapse“ are just great, the latter can even compete with In Flames´ “Only For The Weak” regarding groove and quality. Also their Pantera-cover “Mouth Of War” sounds cool, as a bonus there´s also the video for “Celestial Furnace”. “Mind Tricks” will definitely occupy my player very often...
