After GURD guitarist Bruno Spring left the band 2004 it took a while until he could realize his own project, The Order. And it was worth it. Great singer – Gianni Pontillo (Pure Inc.), just his dark velvet voice is reason enough to buy this album – and the GURD colleagues Andrej Abplanalp (b) and Mauro Casciero (dr). created a great album featuring a suitable powerful sound (by Swiss mastering Guru Glenn Miller, Greenwood Studios). Stomping straight Metal, sometimes more thrashy, sometimes soft; yet the ballads Loved Died and Looser sound a bit too cheesy. And the On The Radio riff sounds just like Megadeth´s Symphony – yet The Order turn it into something completely different. Great debut album, and if they keep their fingers from cheesy ballads, this band is going to be really big!
