The Swedish from On Parole serve on their debut album untypical Rock´n´Roll. Sometimes spiced with Pop and Punk elements the eleven songs seem very varied and fresh. “Can U Dig It!” reminds a bit of Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin, while “Hard Rocking Man” is very similar to Lordi. Also tendencies to Green Day and the German Die Ärzte can be seen (“Barflies”), some melodies could also stem of The White Stripes. In “Roller Blind Whiskey” singer Modig´s voice sounds like that of The King. Thanks to this enormous spectrum this record is fun. Occasional equalities in the songs can be forgiven, because finally every track is full of energy and should make everybody jump in some way. Those who like fat and fast Rock´n´Roll should get this.
