Pointers Head play pretty predictable heavy metal that doesn`t raise too much enthusiasm. This combined with the lousy production on the album Fireplug Hysteria, makes it sound like a demo tape David Geffen threw away in the late 80`s.
I don`t really know what to say about Pointers Head. Judging buy the cover-art I thought this was a joke, but the music is too boring to be meant to be funny. The singer sounds like Vince Neil, the band sounds like this was recorded live at the rehearsal room and the songs sound like they were written during the week before recording. The vocals are way too loud, but still I can`t make out the lyrics (Then again I`m not sure I would even want too!).
Thanks, but no thanks! If there is an audience for this, I hope they find you but don`t hold your breath…
