FrightDoll is a One-Woman project from Florida/USA, "Reference Version" the first release. A beautiful made digi-pack, artwork and the lyrics show clearly the direction, one has to espect: Cybergoth.
Music-wise, Frightdoll offers a well produced mixture of Electro and Goth, with some future pop as well. Above it all floats the voice of FrightDoll, sweet, seducible, distorted.
The songs easily enter one's ear, but unfortunately they will not stay there for long. More chill out than for the dance-floor, the "one big hit" is missing. Altogether the record is just too prosy, the songs too same-structured to constrast with the masses of other releases.
