Whoever finds the festival season still too far away, can check out this 2 DVD set to cut the waiting time. One DVD features the legenday Roadrunner United All Stars concert that took place on Decmber 15 2005 in New York´s Nokia Theatre and a documentary about the making. The show features tracks by e.g. Slipknot, Machine Head, Biohazard, Fear Factory, Life Of Agony, Obituary, Soulfly, Sepultura, Merciful Fate´s "Curse of the Pharoahs" & King Diamond´s "Abigail" ... but not, as the title already suggests, in the bands´ original line ups. So you can find "Ripper" Owens singing the latter 2 songs mentioned, as well as Annihilator´s "Alison Hell". Also Ville Valo appears as singer of Type O´s "Black No. 1". DVD 2 offers a 70 min documentary aobut the background story of this Roadrunner United and the New York concerts. Featured in interview clips are e.g. Dino Cazares (Fear Factory), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Howard, Adam & Justin (Killswitch Engage), Glen Benton (Deicide), Trivium (the whole band), Cory Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour), Logan Mader (Soulfly) or Rob Flynn (Machine Head).
