fter a seven year pause until 2012, Garbage returned with a new album “Not Your Kind of People” and proceeded to go on tour, where they recorded this live performance in Denver, USA.
First and foremost, there is a pretty authentic live concert feeling in the recording as there are plenty of wanker motherfucker assholes with iPhones held high in the crowd –please do yourself and us and favour and don´t be that guy. As to expect, they played a lot of new material to promote their latest album, but also a lot of the good old hits, like “I Think I´m Paranoid”, “Stupid Girl” and “Only Happy when it Rains”.
There are some features in the form of the band members talking about some of their later material and the making of it as well as the music videos to “Control” and “Blood for Poppies”. The only big thing to complain about is the drastic difference in volume. After each feature, it skips back to the menu, which is two times louder.
To sum it all up, the DVD is pretty damn good, especially if you like Garbage. I must recommend this to all fans of the band and genre in general as well as people with good taste.
