Warming up for the upcoming tour, those 5 Kings of Modesty guys appear on the On the Rocks stage and also present a part of their debut album. We have already presented this band to you through an interview with singer Jason Flinck here. The long awaited debut CD ”Hell and Highwater” will be released by the end of September, and right in time for this release the band will be tour with no other than Tarja Turunen.
This evening is also a chance for them to test the audience reactions to their songs and to warm up. Unfortunately not many people have found their way to the club, and they rather prefer to stay in the background than stand in front of the stage. The songs promise a cool Rock album. Sometimes the guys on stage appear a bit lost, and you can hope that this will change when appearing on bigger stages - but the show as such was interesting, and you cannot say anything bad about this charming guys.
When you want to see Kings of Modesty live just check the tourdates of Tarja Turunen, you can be looking forward to a solid show and songs with ear-candy potential.
After that Entwine were supposed to play but they had cancelled, so the Finnish Pop starlet Petra takes the stage, quite appealing in a way but not fitting with Kings of Modesty at all, therefore this report is better kept focused on the opening act...
