Lordi: “I never ever had the thought to quit”
This interview took place only one day before the exact 10-year anniversary of the first Lordi performance at the Z7 in Pratteln. Lot of things have happened since then: New members, the Eurovision Song Contest as well as 5 studio records, the latest called “To Beast or not To Beast”. After the show´s Meet & Greet with a bunch of fans, Mr. Lordi took some time for us to answer our questions, despite being soaked in sweat and exhausted by the show (report here ). ANDRE MATOS: “I try to open people´s eyes and ears to reality”
2013 is a special year for Andre Matos. The vocalist, along with his solo band, can celebrate his new release "The Turn of the Lights" and also the 20th anniversary of Angel Cry, the first album he recorded with his former band Angra. He just finished his tour in Brazil, where he surprised fans with a two part show: the first featured songs from his new album and hits from his whole career - including Viper, Shaman and Solo band eras - and on the second part, Angels Cry was played in full. Halestorm: “I would never sell my testicles”
Again in Copenhagen, and once more for an interview with Halestorm. Last time it was singer Lzzy Hale, now her brother and the band´s drummer Arejay Hale sits in front of the microphone for a quick chat before their VIP meet and greet appointments prior to the show . Finding a suitable place for the interview was a tough job, but in the end we invaded the production office and sat down between laptops, potato chips bags and coffee cans.
