The third album of this Italian band offers a wild mix of Technical Death Metal, Progressive Metal and melodic parts. Aggressive, powerful and diverse, and you can also find crazy instrumental parts (“Obsession-Compulsion”). It sounds like a co-operation of Meshuggah, Dream Theater and Rob Zombie... and who finds the new Meshuggah way too far out can risk an ear here. The bonustracks – coverversions of A-HA´s “Take On Me” and Frankie Goes To Hollywoods “Relax” - show the band´s humour but could have been much more extreme, in my opinion. As this is the last chapter in a three-CD-project I can only recommend to fans of this genre to add it to your collection.
