On a release with the name Tue Madsen under "producer", it is pretty clear that you have a decent production in your hands. It's no different with Danish band “As We Fight”'s debut album. To describe the musical mixture of these six guys with metalcore is only partly accurate. Especially the interplay between both singers from growls to hardcore shouts gives the 11 songs an enourmes dynamic and an aggressiveness, that reminds more of pure death metal than hardcore. Sadly, it also shows that placing oneself between all these different styles doesn't always have a positive outcome and therefore the whole is quite immature.
