Piebald, the alternative rockers from Boston roll with „Killa Bros...“ their first DVD into the record stores. Unfortunately the disc, upgraded with a second audio-disc (with after all 17 B-sides), can´t really convince. Firstly there´s a long tour film on the DVD which shows the band primarily in Germany before, during and after the show. Quite interesting and it´s absolutely amusing to gain an insight into the touring life of the foursome. Sadly, the concert footage is far from being amusing: the sound and the vision are only insignificantly better than with bootlegs and the camera work is uncreative and amateurish. I can´t avoid the impression that all of the footage is the result of 2 or 3 camcorders which were run by pals of the band in front and on the stage. Unfortunately also the navigation is faulty. Thus, it is possible to choose single parts of the concert but it´s impossible to watch all concert snippets in a row. Here you only have the possibility to either watch the whole tour film or complicatedly access every track singly from the menu. Otherwise there are some short films (e.g. about the bandmobile which is driven by bio-fuel) on the DVD which are nice to see but become uninteresting after the first run.
