I make it short:
For three years the 5 british guys were hiding according to their band name. You can possibly add one or two more years in the rehearsal room, writing songs and experimenting. I do not want to say, that „We lost ourselves...“ is godawful, it´s just not mature enough and sounds like numerous other American Highschool or College bands. It´s not really convincing. The boys (that´s what they are judging from their photo) know how to play their instruments, their sound is fresh but they just are this typical teenie band. Andy O´Neil and his friends are influenced by bands like Brand New and the Foo Fighters but they can´t really measure up to those big names but you can definitely hear their influence. The album has a very good production and will probably be loved by the girls but what about the rest of the music world? Verdict: it´s ok...
