Desert-feeling from the Northern regions, but this time it´s not Stoner Rock: Southern Blues´n´Roll with Slide Guitar and the rough-rusty voice of El Taff Bastardo who reminds a bit of Lemmy and Phil Lynott. Cactus-juice and Tequila flow through those catchy tunes and harmonic choruses, the rhythm is just right for tapping or stomping your feet, the lyrics deal with classic "wine women & song" issues... this band takes Western cliches so far that it immediately puts a dirty smile on your face. At Sauna Open Air (see the report) I found that hey have a connection with ZZ Top - the sound, the party feeling, the image and the humor - only the beards are still missing. My advice for this CD: Play it loud, close your eyes, and I´m sure you find yourself in the Titty Twister club, however, Mexico might be much further away... The epic ballad "My name is El Muerte" could be a hit song, and those Finns might soon challenge some Gringos in the Rock charts for a duel...
