“Diamond Blue” is the second solo album of singer Terry Brock, who became known via British Melodic Rock Legends Strangeways and his Background Vocals for Kansas. Terry, a gifted guitarist and singer, has been working with many bands since 1983. Nowadays Brock focuses on „Giant“ where he replaces singer Dann Huff, and the reunion of Strangeways, who will release a new record soon. „Diamond Blue“ offers solid Melodic Rock with rather calm songs that invite to sing along. Simple songs, and especially the first three might become a bit boring because they are so similar. „Nice Guy“ is a typical American Rock Song that is a bit rougher, followed by the ballad „Rain“ and songs that have more variety and sophistication than the first 3, luckily. „Diamond Blue“ is another example that Brock is a top singer, and fans can be looking forward to the new record of Strangeways.
