There are things, that make you think. Some Death Metal type sweden death and a potential Nu Metal Style hit from Germany and there you have a thought–provoking impulse in Since The Day-style. How does a band succeed at playing great Scandinavian Death-Metal for 8 tracks and then making a complete break in style with a song like “Mascara Eyes”, which can easily be compared to chart breakers like Linkin Park or Papa Roach? One explanation is that this is an attempt by the 5 germans to create a “Ballad”, another is that all of the 9 songs are really Metalcore and they reach a higher level of heaviness than planned.
