Even the opener ”Prisoner” leaves you open-mouthed – wow, great sound, great riffs, an even greater voice... and it continues that way, Old School Metal Scandinavian style, that means rough and melodious at the same time, creating 8 incredibly catchy Metal anthems. You cannot avoid thinking about another Finnish band, Sentenced, yet Agonizer have their own style and Pasi Kärkkäinen, a top singer who can easily outshine other more famous frontmen. Moreover, there is this excellent production by Astia Studios´ Anssi Kippo (e.g. Children Of Bodom), and at least this self-financed full length debut has got them a deal with Spinefarm. It´s time that this band (founded 1998 in Pyhäjärvi) has some luck. Sentenced, R.I.P, time for Agonizer!
