Too bad that this double CD is the swan song of this Finnish band, because Reverend Bizarre decided to call it a quits at the height of their career – as they have already announced in December 2006 at their last show. And what otherwise is just a catch phrase hits indeed the mark in this case. Fucking great, ingenious, this last output of the trio Magister Albert (voc, b), Peter Vicar (git), Earl Of Void (dr)! Doom with a touch of Stoner Rock (e. g. the occasional groove of Kyuss), with the sinister atmosphere of old Black Sabbath, with tacky endless soli, spiced with Mag. Albert´s hypnotic voice – and indeed, excellent vocals thorughout the album! - plus an amount of weird humour... I am just flabberghasted, especially because of the brilliant track „Cesar Forever“. A masterpiece, offering 7 songs and 130 (!) minutes playtime, that will definitely get them a posthumous place in Metal Olympus. And leaves you with a tear in the corner of your eye. Farewell, Reverend Bizarre...
