Emigrate is the side project of Rammstein guitarist Richard Kruspe who could also recruit e. g. Arnaud Giroux (b) and Clawfinger drummer Henka Johansson for the line-up. Muscially they naturally go Industrial, yet none of the tracks is directly comparable with the main band. I´d rather use Rob Zombie (e.g. for the title track) and Pain for a comparison, especially regarding the clear laconic vocals („My World“, „Resolution“). And the vocals are sometimes a problem vor me, „Wake Up“ e. g. is quite good, real rocking ear candy, but the voice sounds a bit thin. „Let Me Break“ has great riffs and a touch of Stoner Rock, much calmer are „In My Tears“ and „Babe“, where the German accent is most noticable. Summing up, it is a quite good Industrial Rock CD but I had expected a bit more.
