A Nuclear Blast band in the studio together with Anders Fridén (In Flames, Ex-Dark Tranquillity) and famous metal producers/engineers Daniel Bergstrand and Tue Madsen... No, strangely enough we´re talking mostly American style hardcore!

You might remember The Destiny Program from a few years back as the band Destiny, who due to line-up changes and copyright trouble had to change their name. Now that we have figured out who we´re talking about it´s much easier to approach the music as what it´s meant for. And as such ”Subversive Blueprint (The 12-point program to self revolution)” is a natural follow up to Destiny´s ”The Tracy Chapter” from 2004. The guys simply continue from where they left off, with some raunchy hardcore riffs with lots of attitude but still managing to be surprisingly melodic. And with production credits from the guys mentioned above you can be sure the sound is heavy and intensive, although not too much and therefore still gives the songs the needed freedom of expression.

But... The Destiny Program is in no way unique and despite a few more interesting songs and nice energy ”Subversive Blueprint” is still ”just another” hardcore album. As such definitely not bad but not able to come up with anything out of the ordinary...
