Our current STALKER Fresh Act can already present an impressive discography, although it´s only about self-made demos and singles. “Evil Against Evil” 2005, from where also the new (re-recorded) Single “Then” is taken, and those CDs I received, “Earth Penitentiary” (2006 Demo) and “The Man That Kills Himself” (2006 Single). The latter features an 8 ˝ minutes-track that covers the whole range of the band, brutal Thrash to ballad, and a “Hidden Track” sung in Hebrew. What both demos have in common is the wild but appealing mix of Thrash, Death and Melodic metal and also melancholic ballad-parts, mostly with growl-vocals. You cannot help thinking of Holy Moses, Obituary, Sepultura or Megadeth, especially listening to the fine and detailed guitar work. Only the somewhat immature clean vocals disrupt the picture, and the production sounds too much like demo sometimes. But otherwise – keep an eye on that band! Epidemic will also appear on the 2008 JMG-Sampler “Israel Unleashed: The Best Rock And Metal From The Holy Land”!
