Carved In Stone is the solo project of the artist Swawa who worked in various Metal bands as keyboarder and singer, here she provides all voices and instruments. Her second longplayer offers this portion of melancholy that goes perfectly with rainy autumn or dark winter evenings. Vocals that remind partly of Ina Deter, partly of Enya (“The Forest Of Souls”), acoustic guitars, flute, a bit of Irish Folk, a touch medieval times and lyrics in German as well as English that tell stories of mercenaries, blind mine horses and fallen heroes.
