On their debut album, the Welsh formation come up with a presently populair mixture in a new constellation. A proper amount of classic heavy metal guitars and a good dose of emocore. With ‚Curses’ they go in a melodic and melancholy direction and with ‚No Control’ they present a very headstrong mixture of hardcore and (melodic) death metal. All in all a very versatile album that attempts to mix different influences. A note of caution: fans of experimental music will love it, but purists should probably stay away from this album.
