Dying Humanity wasn´t formed until 2006 but are already out with their debut album ”Fallen Paradise”. They label themselves as ”accessible deathcore”, meaning that their death and trash influenced metalcore has a little something for fans of all metal genres. But trying to serve too many masters can easily lead to some confusion in what is the purpose of what you´re doing, and unfortunately ”Fallen Paradise” is a bit confused. That´s not to say that the guys can´t write good riffs and beautiful guitar harmonies or play very well. The problem certainly isn´t there nor is it in the grunts and shouts of the vocals, but in the end the guys just aren´t able to keep their eye on the ball and it´s hard to keep your focus on the actual songs as there just seems to be too many building blocks to every track. This can of course be explained with the age of the group and a finger should also be pointed at the engineering room as the production work on the album doesn´t help the band to make any more sense either. But the potential is definitely there and when Dying Humanity finds a bit character and determination in what they should sound like this band could make it big.
