Now this is fun! German band Japanische Kampfhörspiele plays a crazy mix of grind core and hardcore without taking themselves too seriously. If this music would be a movie we would all have epilepsy before the new album, ”Rauchen und Yoga”, was over. These guys definitely write and play music first and foremost for their own enjoyment and it´s impossible not to get sucked in to the enthusiasm. Ok, sometimes the ”musical decisions” are so strange that it´s hard not to laugh it all off as a joke, but even if ”Rauchen und Yoga” might not feel like the most thought through wholeness, it´s such a blast that you don´t have time to stop and wonder about ”what just happened there?”. Oh yeah!
