After Prozac from Grenada, Andalusia, Spain, have been existing in this line-up since 2006, Otman (guit), Pablo (voc) – who found each other via internet and recruited later also Fernando (guit), Miguel (bass) and Zuri (dr). If I decode the spanish/french band information correctly, they also won a band competition in their home country. Break Up is now their debut album that basically represents a mixture of Alternative, Punk, Emo and Pop, and not a bad one, but sometimes you cannot deny a certain Deja-Vu feeling... e. g. “Run Away” triggers such a feeling, but still this is perfect ear candy with hit potential. Besides their mentioned influences My Bloody Valentine, The Stooges and Bowie, their song material reminds you sometimes of Nirvana, Foo Fighters or Kaiser Chefs (“The Grey Man”). That means, fans of the acts mentioned can give this one a try without hesitation.
