Well, there´s not so much Doom to be found here. Freezeebee from Frankfurt/Main, Germany, playing together in this line-up since 2001, were rather inspired by classic Hard Rock (Deep Purple) and Blues Rock, but also Psychedelic/Stoner and Funk Rock (Lenny Kravitz). A quite wild mixture that captures the listener – the third CD of the Germans contains a lot of nice tunes and groove that gets you moving. Songs like “Shoot Me”, “Do It Right” or “Marathon” have some hit potential. Yet for my taste there is too much Funk there, and the mixture comes sometimes a bit too wild – in my opinion the guys fared better with more Stoner instead... but still, a good CD.
