Past is prologue and thus Random Hero from Erlangen, Germany pick up where Taking Back Sunday and Fall Out Boy left off about 2 years ago. The debut album of the 4 guys sounds heavily influenced by American pop punk bands – a huge dose of emo with extra icing, which is already indicated by the baby-blue cover plus flapping singing bird. The leading element is here the harmonious interchanging vocals with three voices, the accompanying music comes across rather unobtrusive. Amongst others they played support for Itchy Poopzkid and it seemed like some closer contacts have been made because frontman Sibbi Poopzkid appears as a guest vocalist on the track “Day In November”. 10 songs for people with a rather soft, emotional mind; “noise” and “face-smashing” songs like the press release promised cant be found here.
