Who listened closely at Wacken Open Air 2005 will have noticed the Italian horror-metalers STIGMA. With their extremely bloody creepy lyrics and back-breaking riffs the guys know how to frighten us. „When Midnight Strikes“ is their debut, on which they worked for a very long time. Producer Ettore Rigotti, who also helped Disharmonia Mundi to get a successful entrance with „Nebularium“, has his fingers in this pie and is surely responsible for the great power of the album. Here and there a hidden melody is waiting and to give the illusion of safety, but then you get blown away by a stormy deathcore breath. It makes you want to become a horror monster yourself to join the massacre! The album is great fun, definitely one to run riot!
