Steep from Tampere has released a full length album of inexpressive music. Why, only the band knows, because Steep has more than potential. The guys can play, but unfortunately their songs have no originality and recognizability. You could say that the band is searching for their place between Hard Core and Thrash, and when they have found it you can certainly expect a lot of good stuff from this band.
This 2006 debut – because of the fusion between Dies Irae and Stay Heavy Records again on the rooster – includes 11 songs that sound very much alike. As bonus there are 3 more songs from the previous EP. The album is nothing special, but it doesn´t bother you either when played in the background. And that says it all about the monotone style...
