The Austrians Concrete indeed created quite a tough piece, fully in the spirit of the bandīs & the 5-track demoīs name. Slegde hammers that attack your ears with a mixture of Old School Death, Thrash and Prog, and initialy this combination sounds a bit too chaotic for me. But they develop a bit mire structure, and when you have reached the more grooving "Donīt Disturb My Circles" the whole thing has a kind of perverted ear candy value... Hacke (b), Chris (dr), Hellmood (git) and DirtyHarry (voc) show potential to develop their own prog style, they are just not quite there yet. But just because of this beautiful artwork (by Fatima Wollgast) this EP is absolutely recommendable to fans of this genre.
