Really good work, what these young men from Peterborough, England, have achieved - namely an album called ´ time to wake up ´, in British manner. One could pull comparisons to various British bands or to Brit-wanna-be´s, but let´s skip that. British sound is just British sound and this is refreshing and danceable, with catchy melodies, choruses for joining in, to sing along and go with the rhythms.
And that is the way how Lee Reynolds (vocals, guitar), James Yemc (guitar), Adam Tucker (bass) and Rob Laughton (drums) do it. THE 925´s enter ears and memory of the listener and do not want to disappear quickly from those. The album contains potential hits, like ´ you´ re too pretty ´ which seems to me absolutely fabulous, and the Opener´alone´ and also´ all american feels ´ - very, very nice songs.
´ TIME TO WAKE UP ´ is the debut of this band, produced by Werner Pensaert. He became aware of the band after these guys reached two 3-rd places in - Kerrang Battle of Bands - and - ´ Demo of the year ´ - Cakewalk software contests in 2006. Concerts followed in Eindhoven and, in the end, after their success the recordings for ´ TIME TO WAKE UP ´. THE 925´S were already on stage with big names, like the Babyshambles, We ares Scientist and the Golden Earring. That says everything! So, run to the record shop!!!
