No rest for Cavalera fans. As soon as the last Cavalera Conspiracy concert is over, you get a fresh breeze from another direction, in form of the new SOULFLY-Album ‚Conquer’.
And this wind turns into a tornado as soon as you listened to the first riffs. No matter how high the stakes were, SOULFLY put out their heaviest Metal album. The opener ‚Blood fire war hate’ shows the direction of the following 57 Minutes. Tough and powerful, but still with variations and a lot of creativity - songs like ‚Paranoia’, ‚Enemy Ghosts’ and ‚Touching the Void’ have a common thrashing grooving line, present in the whole ‚Conquer’ album.
Summary: This CD continues the previous ones and shows that Max Cavalera is still full of energy and ideas.
