Defenestrations fourth CD burns from soup to nuts. Like a terrible, nasty Mafiosi known from Napalm Death, Lost Prophets, etc they shoot from the hips in a damned hard way! For example there are songs like “Moments Of Truth” and “Going to Vancouver” which can be recommended. They got some occult atmosphere as well as concisely riffing. Very strong is also the female part of the band. She does a good job with her beautiful, clear voice.
The ubiquitous songwriting of the Britain is almost drowning. What is missed is a galloping sound which is needed to get a high position in advanced Trash Metal. By the way - “For Us It Ends When We Drown” is nevertheless a top- album which gets the acceptance it deserves.
