Desert-feeling from the Northern regions, but this time itīs not Stoner Rock: Southern BluesīnīRoll with Slide Guitar and the rough-rusty voice of El Taff Bastardo who reminds a bit of Lemmy and Phil Lynott. Cactus-juice and Tequila flow through those catchy tunes and harmonic choruses, the rhythm is just right for tapping or stomping your feet, the lyrics deal with classic "wine women & song" issues... this band takes Western cliches so far that it immediately puts a dirty smile on your face. At Sauna Open Air (see the report) I found that hey have a connection with ZZ Top - the sound, the party feeling, the image and the humor - only the beards are still missing. My advice for this CD: Play it loud, close your eyes, and Iīm sure you find yourself in the Titty Twister club, however, Mexico might be much further away... The epic ballad "My name is El Muerte" could be a hit song, and those Finns might soon challenge some Gringos in the Rock charts for a duel...
