Well, this CD has indeed kicked me out of my shoes. Whatever you might imagine hearing "Industrial Black Metal", you donīt get it here. Itīs powerful-brutal like Oomph or early Laibach, the guitarsound saws mercilessly on your nervous system, Electro/Industrial Noise plus distorted voice plus lyrics in Italian - a certain MM has never sounded that evil in his entire career, and NIN could even feel pushed from their throne. This is definitely to music for dancing.
Experimental parts, like distorted samples - e.g. Tibetan monk chants, Russian folk songs, a piano - rather have you feel a shiver run down your spine. The long tracks achieve a hypnotic-intense-mysterious feeling, like Fields Of The Nephilim. This Italian act, returning to the scene after a 5 year hiatus, avoids BM cliches and managed to put the chill and alienation you might feel sometimes towards the cruelties of this world , 1:1 into music. An acoustic horror trip.
