THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE is a new band from Lancaster, which is now presenting their first album “Monuments”. Their sound follows many Metalcore veterans and appears to be more or less average. While the guitars play well, drums and vocals become more and more monotonous with every new song. Screams and blast beats as far as you can hear! Nowadays, this is neither catchy, nor interesting. What a pity, especially because the guys really know how to play their instruments. But next time they should focus a bit more on proper songwriting.
