Finally there is some new stuff from PAGANIZER, from experience a high-class death metal combo that still raises the roof with “Carnage Junkie”. From the beginning on you can hear that the strong, brutal riffs are the highlight of the album, on the other side there’s one important point of criticism: the band tries a little too hard to be better than all the others. Also the sound could be a bit more powerful.
Well, good moments like “Among the unknowing dead” or “Heal not your wounds” are also present. The songs are fast-paced and sound-wise stand out from the rest of the 12 tracks. But singer Rogga knows how to shine too, his vocals will stick to your brain.
Those who still like death metal should keep an eye on these guys from Sweden.
