Here are the perfect supplies for your automobile radio, while driving to one of the shows of WISHBONE ASH. The latest album “Argus” has originally been released in 1972. Now, for the first time, they play it live, in full length. They present themselves sometimes atmospheric, sometimes catchy and sometimes less fast but always playing in their finest feather. Emotions, great melodies and an interesting kind of rising tension are the secret of the song- structure of this band, which distinguishes them from other acts. This band has an enormous recognition value with what they do and how clearly and directly they do it. And they dare to try again an instrumental song (Echoes). But this is something they had done before in their long history. Those little breakouts give the album some colorful dabbers, and with such a high class performance rather average songs like “Leaf and Stream” and “Warrior” do not really matter.
Result: This band should not be missed, as well as the forthcoming concerts next year.
