There is something new from Andromeda. It is called “The Immunity Zone” and it is an album of almost 67 minutes. Therewith the review could end, because every sensible Prog- Freak should buy this. Is the rest unnecessary? Yes, in principle!
But here is some information. The journey is the reward – and this time it is the creation of a musically well- founded atmosphere as well as the devolving of mood in a traceable way.
They do not goof around, but play at a high level. Also there is no missing of ideas and melodies – and that the production has the needed authenticity is self-evident. The musical details and the great voice of David Fremberg convince again all over the line, this time more than on the other albums. Therefore it is senseless to talk about some of the tracks, because this album is enjoyed best at a stretch.
Well, as said before, this is not only for ANDROMEDA a purchase recommendation – really great what this guys show us here.
