Sic – is used in texts when you write something in a certain way purposely, even though you know it´s wrong. After listening to the debut offering from these Faroese I can only hope that they didn´t do everything on the record on purpose. It all just sounds so terribly like typical American cliché hardcore a la Coal Chamber about 2002. The band doesn´t really has to add anything new or original and after endless 63 minutes you´ve heard more than enough. There´s one “charity point” because the album was already recorded in 2007 and on that note one can only hope that Sic has learnt something new in the past two years. Those who think otherwise can watch the guys on tour through Europe right now. Good luck!
