I´m not such a big Black Metal fan, but this album is definitely going to rotate more often in my CD player. The Hungarian band Sear Bliss released their 6th album already in 2004, but only in the US, and now their epic work is finally available in Europe, too. And indeed you won´t notice any "aging effects". This is timeless, simply great music. Who find scene icons from Cradle to Dimmu too one-dimensional and boring nowadays, should definitely lend Sear Bliss an ear. Atmospheric, epic, pretty melodious and intense, with elements from Pagan Metal, Doom and Goth, the quality of the lyrics is way above the average, and the artwork (by József Tari, Aurea Aetas) is very good - therefore, just go and get it! Personal favorite: Blood Serenade.
