The Saints have been around since the 70s. They were presented at the time as the Australian response to the Sex Pistols. This band has quite a few years under its belt. You would think that the older the musicians, the better their albums will get. Well, it doesn't seem that way at all after listening to their latest album „Nothing Is Straight In My House“. It all sounds like Understatement, like alternative punk rock even. They have matured in some way, but on the other hand they haven't. Some rock here, a few ballads there, none of it very convincing. Nothing earth-shaking.
