Sometimes it just takes a little bit longer. Dan Swanö, the master of mastering, doesn´t only have his fingers in almost every pie when it comes to finishing off numerous death metal albums, in the old days he himself was in charge of guitar and mic in Total Terror. This self-titled record which is now introduced to a broader public is a “crust” gem which was recorded in the mid-90s, got lost, found and finally mastered by the master himself in 2008. Short and snappy 27 songs in 33 minutes that´s already a fantastic job of this debut album which was at the same time also the swan song of the band. The lyrics are shouted in Swedish but that´s not an issue because you wouldn´t understand anything anyway, and even the boss had his problems: “I spent five hours at an airport (...) trying to figure out what I was singing/yelling/screaming”. Bottom line: snotty, mean, just “crusty”! Enjoy!
