Guitar wizard Axel Rudi Pell celebrates his 20th band birthday this year. And as a small gift, he presents a new best of, which focuses on releases of the last 10 years. One the one hand, this is a bit poor because listeners will miss alltime classics like `Casbah`, but one the other hand, this shows that Axel has also released many great songs in the last decade. And in addition, the old ones are represented on the ``Ballads 1-3``.
Surprisingly the sound is quite homogeneous and powerful, so I think that Axel did it completely: not only remixes and remasters, but real new recordings. So ``Best of`` is perfect for new listeners to gain an impression of Axel Rudi Pell and to prepare fort he upcoming festivals. But actually there are no bonus tracks or additional stuff on this release, so it should be obsolete for listeners, who are already well equipped.
