They still exist: American punk bands that have stayed true to the traditional style and haven't turned to bubblegum punk or pop punk. Good. In basis, The Generators have made a decent album with „The Winter Of Discontent“. Some of the 12 songs really rock and then change to mid-tempo and sound like a mixture between The Clash and Bad Religion. Singer Doug Kane sound refreshingly natural, but also a little bit weak. The perfect album for a nice afternoon in the sun with a six pack of beer.
