Friends of straight and tuneful Goth Rock, pay attention - LEAVES“ EYES is coming! The newest work "Njord" is a feast for the ears for Aficionados of the above mentioned direction. The tracks are all compatible for immediate sing-along, the melodies are all catchy, the guitar work, partly supported with keyboards, is absolutely pretty good and the nice voice of singer Liv Kristine Espenęs Krull wonderfully fits into the complete work. The album begins with "Njord" at a little moderate pace, takes on more speed with "My Destiny", and "Take The Devil In Me" ensures that also a dreamy ballad is not absent. "Through Our Veins" grooves, "Northbound" comes a little more from the melodic Metal-corner and rocks indeed. No complaints.
