If THE LAW are Law, they would have the paragraph Rock on! in their program.
They sound good&powerful right from the beginning and of course rocky. They remind you of a few bands which have been thrown on the IndieRock music market in the past years, especially in the british and scandinavian area. And yes, they sound very British and that`s because they bear Stan Kybert`s trademark ( Oasis, Paul Weller, Massiv Attack ).
The Opener DON`T BELIEVE is like some good StonerRock stuff and made me hoping for an kickass record. But there is no continuity like that on A MEASURE OF WEALTH. Only from the second until the last track it is a good Indie rock record and from there you can find continuity.
A MEASURE OF WEALTH offers sufficient and good material for everyone who likes the Indierock stuff and wants to increase the record collection.
Summary: successful first record that convinces, without surprises!
