The quite new Hardcore band Awaken Demons, that has released its first album in 2007, is really exotic in the scene. These five guys come from the beautiful Italian town of Cesena, but they really sound American. Maybe due to their bunch of tours they have done along with well known Hardcore bands already.
First of all, "The Mirror" has quite a good production. Hard like a hammer, but nevertheless clear and not too obtrusive aggressive. Almost all of the songs are Midtempo and they are not to bad composed and performed. But there are no real highlights among them. In the future, the guys should try to include the one or the other catchy chorus line into their songs. This would make listening much more interesting.
